Molly lived in Pennsylvania and began to work professionally in the teen years at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production included The Snow Queen. The following year she was cast as Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated for a Barrymore Award. The actress reprised the role in her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. She was also nominated for the Drama League Award. Molly has also been seen in Broadway to perform in the reprise in Fiddler on the Roof. She then attended Princeton University and was a member of the Triangle Club.
